Ex-rugby player joins property developer

Developer Robertson Property has announced the appointment of a former rugby union player as its new development director.

Ross McNulty – who represented Scotland at various levels – joins from Valad Europe, where he spent 10 years working in UK real estate.

In his new role, Ross will be focusing on developments across Scotland.

“Ross brings technical and commercial experience that will be hugely beneficial to us,” said Will Hean, managing director at Robertson Property.

“Our priority is to create more high-quality, tenant-led developments in Scotland over the coming years and this appointment will help us achieve that.”

Ross holds an MSc in property and construction management from Edinburgh Napier University.

“Robertson Group is well respected in construction, property development and infrastructure delivery across the UK,” Ross added.

“It is a real honour to join the business as it celebrates its 50th year, and I look forward to working with Will to grow Robertson Property in Scotland.”

Robertson is currently focused on hotels, student accommodation and the private rented sector, in addition to roadside retail, leisure and mixed-use development.
