The application includes plans for a major headquarters and proposals for what is claimed to be Windsor’s first build-to-rent scheme.
The site at 67 Alma Road currently has consent for 250,000 sq ft of offices, but the latest application is for a combination of offices and apartments.
The new plans feature 217 one- and two-bedroom flats with communal facilities, 142 parking spaces on the northern part of the site, plus a 105,000 sq ft net office building with 219 parking spaces on the southern side.

The Grade-A offices have been designed for flexible use, either by a single business or sub-divided.
The residential scheme may be brought forward as build-to-rent.
“We are delighted to have submitted these proposals after an exhaustive pre-application consultation with the council,” said Doug Stewart, CEO at Salmon Harvester.
“We hope to progress the town’s first build-to-rent scheme and at the same time deliver flexible office space to meet Windsor’s future commercial needs.
“If consented, we will be moving into the construction phase straightaway.”
