STB funds North London project with £10.5m

Secure Trust Bank (STB) has provided a £10.5m loan package for two residential projects in North London.

The two three-year loans have been supplied to overhaul and upgrade two residential units.

The first loan, worth £4.3m, will be used to transform a house into an HMO in York Way, Islington.

The second, amounting to £6.2m, will be used to transform a block of flats comprising 14 residential units in Camden.

STB relationship director Mike Feasey led the deal, which was brokered by Garnet Finance managing director Kevin Stedmann.

“At STB, we pride ourselves on supporting projects that contribute positively to the communities they serve, and we’re excited to see these developments take shape and delivering lasting value,” said Mike.

“I’d also like to thank Dinesh Masih, our relationship support specialist, for his help in getting this deal across the finishing line.”

Kevin added: “Having worked on several projects over the past 18 months with Mike and the wider STB team, we were well aware of their ability to offer a bespoke facility.

“We’re delighted to see the refurbishments underway and look forward to seeing them reach completion.”

The deal was also advised by professional services firm gunnercooke.
