The long-established Yorkshire developer has previously worked on regeneration schemes such as the £40m Foss Islands retail scheme in York and the £40m Broad Street Plaza in Halifax.
Gregory Homes, however, will be a division dedicated to residential ventures and will be led by Andrew Foggitt.
Andrew joined the group in 2014 and has managed a total asset value of £45m across a number of roles.
Despite leading the residential asset growth, he will also remain director in charge of commercial ventures at Gregory.

“As the property industry as a whole shows economic strengthening, the time is right for us to increase our presence in the residential sector,” said Andrew.
“We are now actively bringing forth our sector development expertise – in some cases working in joint venture partnerships – to deliver bespoke schemes that fit into the local environment, while delivering against the regional housing shortage.”
Gregory completed 12 mews-style homes in Pudsey last month, while nine family homes in Monk Fryston are near completion.
The group is also pursuing a joint venture with Robinson Developments to deliver 29 family homes in Eccleshill, Bradford, and has announced plans for a 22-home development in Dacre Banks, a joint venture with Ridgefield Property.
