Inland Homes reveals housebuilding programme at record level

Inland Homes has announced that a strong end-of-year momentum across the business will support a positive outlook for 2018.

The brownfield regeneration specialist and housebuilder has posted a number of updates highlighting further progress with its value-enhancing activities and land sales.

The group completed the sale of 146 plots in Birmingham to Crest Nicholson in December 2017, following the receipt of planning consent on the brownfield site.

The pair also conditionally exchanged an additional contract for the sale of a further 87 plots on an adjoining parcel of land.

Furthermore, Inland Homes sold a brownfield site in Uxbridge, Middlesex – which comprised 58 plots and planning consent for approximately 750 sq m of commercial space – to a private investor.

The combined value of the disposals stood at £12.7m.

Stephen Wicks, chief executive of Inland Homes (pictured above), said: “As we head into the new year, Inland Homes is well placed to achieve further significant growth in 2018, with the in-house construction team now well established and beginning to bear fruit.

“Our housebuilding programme is at a record level, with over 500 homes currently under construction and a healthy pipeline of new development projects in place for the coming months, supporting our positive outlook.”

Inland has also entered a 50/50 joint venture with the Anderson Group to develop a site for 95 homes at Europa Way, Ipswich, with an estimated GDV of £16m.

The joint venture will see the Anderson Group undertake the development of the units, while Inland Homes will carry out the sales and marketing of the homes, as well as obtaining the funding for the development.
