Catherine works at Richard Jackson Ltd as a business development manager.
The announcement was made at the NFB annual general meeting.
She will replace Neil Walters, who has been appointed as national chair.
“I am honoured that the NFB has made me the new Midlands regional chair,” Catherine said.

“During my time in [the] post, I will work towards tackling the skills crisis, as it is a fundamental step in driving economic growth and promoting conditions our members and SMEs need to thrive.
“We need to focus on training and developing local talent.
“I will strive to promote careers in construction across the Midlands and overcome the major shortage of skills in the construction industry.”
