The challenge – which has been expanded to Germany, Portugal and the UK – was launched in Spain last year with €25,000 (approximately £22,357) in prize money.
Entries are divided into two categories: ‘disruptive idea’ for entrants with a groundbreaking idea within proptech, and ‘impact start-up’ for projects or start-ups that are developing or have already developed proptech solutions with impact.

Financial support and business mentoring to develop and grow their projects will be given to the winning applicants.
Nick Wright, senior director of strategic consulting at CBRE, said: “We are excited to be driving this kind of opportunity in the real estate market, and the challenge will play a critical role in CBRE’s ongoing initiative to support emerging businesses with the potential to transform the industry with creative, innovative and disruptive thinking.”
