Midlands £11m co-living development becomes fully occupied

The £11m co-living Studios24 development in Wolverhampton is now fully occupied.

The residential scheme currently has 75 studio apartments, with this number set to eventually rise to 201 once construction has been completed.

Barry Glantz, director of the Studios24, said: “It’s really great to see the place buzzing with activity and residents enjoying their studios and making the most of shared facilities, such as kitchens, laundry, and the popular café and bar.

“I’m very pleased and proud to say that we have proved beyond doubt that the model works, with all of our studios occupied and people waiting for the next phase to be released.”

Around 40 new jobs have been created by the development, which has taken the place of the former HQ of Carillion.

Barry added: “It’s been amazing to watch our dream of bringing co-living to Wolverhampton become an exciting reality.

“Now, we are close to completing phase two and moving on to phase three of the project, enabling us to offer more rooms to people looking for great value, high-quality accommodation.”

Barry is aiming to create more co-living development opportunities in Midlands cities, with Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Nottingham all possible options.
