DFT to host second filmed roundtable event

This week, Development Finance Today will be hosting its second filmed roundtable event in association with Watson Farley & Williams.

The invitation-only roundtable — which is supported by Aldermore and Avamore Capital — will be held on Friday 5th April at Watson Farley & Williams’ offices at 15 Appold Street, London.

The agenda will include discussions on the importance of a developer’s back-up plan and reasons why the development exit product has become more popular in recent times.

Simon Knowles, head of property development at Aldermore; and Zuhair Mirza, principal at Avamore Capital; will be joined by Ranjeev Kumar, partner at Watson Farley & Williams.

Also in attendance will be two property developers and two specialist finance brokers: Nicole Bremner, director at East Eight; Graeme Alfille-Cook, investment consultant at Apex Airspace; Adele Turton, director at Sirius Property Finance; and Matthew Cleave, director of structured finance at Arc & Co.

The roundtable will be chaired by Development Finance Today’s editor Beth Fisher.

The attendees will also discuss how unforeseen circumstances that can delay or halt developments can be mitigated by innovative lending and dynamic attitudes from all parties in the transaction chain.

The 45-minute session will be filmed and broadcast as a 10-minute highlights reel on Development Finance Today later this month on the Roundtables page.

Development Finance Today will be continuing its series of filmed roundtable sessions throughout 2019.
