MCS Group begins construction of multi-million-pound Wiltshire warehouse

MCS Group has started the construction of a multi-million-pound warehouse at Trinity Park in Wiltshire.

It is claimed that the 78,750 sq ft property — which can be split into two separate units — will bring investment and new jobs to the region.

The Midlands-based construction company was awarded the £4.45m contract by JV partners Trebor Developments and Hillwood.

The unit will have HGV access and car parking, and is expected to be ready for occupation in Q4 2019.

“Trinity Park is a speculative development of a new production or distribution space, which would be suitable as a headquarters facility,” said Steve Cruchley, operations director at MCS Group.

“We’ve started on site now and we expect to reach practical completion towards the end of the year.”

Bob Tattrie, managing director at Trebor Developments, added: “We are delighted to have appointed MCS Group and started on site.

“This is the second contract we have awarded MCS this month, with both projects completing in early December.”

The construction contractor recently reached the practical completion of a 50,000 sq ft warehouse development in Milton Keynes.
