Trebor Developments starts work on industrial scheme with MCS Group

Trebor Developments has begun working on site alongside contractor MCS Group to construct a 78,458 sq ft industrial unit near Rotherham.

Work on the industrial development started in July and is expected to be completed in December 2019.

The building — located less than 2.5 miles from junction 31 of the M1 — will be suitable for logistics, distribution or manufacturing uses.

“The development provides quality industrial accommodation to meet local and regional occupier needs and represents part of our national development pipeline of similar speculative, industrial, developments, delivering in the order of three million square feet over the next 18 months,” said Bob Tattrie, managing partner at Trebor Developments (pictured above, third right).

Cllr Denise Lelliott, cabinet member of jobs and the local economy at Rotherham Council, added: “The completed units will be let to inward investors or expanding local companies, which will support business growth in the borough and provide high-value lasting employment for residents.”

Tim Perkins, group development director at MCS Group (third left), also stated that the development would “address the needs of the regional market”.
