The Lender Index

DFT launches new edition of The Lender Index

Development Finance Today has released the 2019/20 edition of The Index, in partnership with Pitch 4 Finance.

The Index features a guide to the key lenders in the bridging, commercial and development finance space, giving brokers the relevant data they need to help them find the right lender.

The definitive guide covers everything from interest rates and specialisms to mission statements and key company contacts.

It also features the matrix, which is a tool for a quick comparison of lenders' offerings.

It is presented by Bridging & Commercial, in partnership with Development Finance Today.

Some 36 lenders are featured in this year’s edition, including first-time entries from Hodge Bank, Blend Network and Whitehall Capital.

Information contained in the guide includes:

  • specialism
  • funding
  • interest rates
  • security types
  • geographical lending areas
  • maximum LTV
  • maximum loan term
  • maximum loan size
  • fees
  • commission
  • early redemption charges
  • treatment of interest

You can subscribe to and access The Index on the Development Finance Today website.

Miranda Khadr, founder of Pitch 4 Finance, said: “The Index is an essential guide to help brokers better understand the ever-changing landscape of short-term and development lenders and is an important research tool.

“When it comes to matching solutions with individual cases, Pitch 4 Finance will provide brokers with the opportunity to submit their loan request to multiple lenders in one place, scanning the market to match their circumstances with lender criteria.

“Matching lenders are then able to pitch for the loan, sending details of the terms they can offer.

“We are finalising the platform for launch in future months and believe that The Index and Pitch 4 Finance will combine to help more brokers place more cases, more successfully.”

The hardcopy version of The Index has been sent to subscribers, while the online copy can be accessed by everyone.
