James will take up the new role this month (September) and will lead JLL’s valuation advisory team in London.
He joined JLL in 2006 and has nearly 25 years of experience in the real estate sector, having also served as a director at BNP Paribas Real Estate.

Andrew Renshaw, lead director of UK valuation and professional advisory at JLL, said: “Having worked with James for over 12 years, he brings a wealth of experience to this leadership role.
“He has a strong real estate lender client base and advises many property investment companies.”
The valuation advisory team advises a range of clients including banks, property companies, property funds and equity investors.
In 2018, the business undertook over £250bn of valuations on more than 25,000 UK properties.
Andrew added: “James will be integral to the growth of our business as we continue to focus on providing our clients with even more valuable insights.”
