Paragon adds two new directors to development finance team

Paragon has appointed Andrew Fairley (pictured above, left) and Steve Hallam (right) as senior relationship directors within the development finance team.

Steve joins from boutique residential lender Ingenious Real Estate.

He has over 20 years of experience in the property development finance market and previously held roles at London Global Real Estate, Legacy Portfolio and RBS.

Andrew — who has worked in the banking sector for more than 20 years — was recruited from Housing Growth Partnership, where he was investment director, responsible for providing equity to residential development projects.

He has previously served at Lloyds Banking Group, Bank of Scotland and PwC.

“My focus is to play an integral part in the next stage of growth for the business, through building new client relationships and delivering client-focused development finance for their projects,” said Andrew.

Steve commented: “I look forward to growing the business and utilising my experience to assist with the wider development of the team.”

Paragon Development Finance recently provided a £3.5m funding package to property developer Burney Essex Ltd for a residential development in Romford.

The finance was used to support the transformation of a former car sales business site into 19 one- and two-bedroom apartments.
