High Street Group completes first BTR development for Grainger

The High Street Group has completed its first build-to-rent (BTR) development on behalf of Grainger PLC in Milton Keynes town centre.

The £31m Solstice Apartments scheme comprises 139 one- and two-bedroom units designed and built specifically for rent.

It also includes communal landscaped gardens, roof terraces, coworking zone and a fitness centre, as well as 168 bicycle storage spaces and 120 car parking spots.

Rents start at £1,050 pcm for a one-bed apartment.

Fourteen apartments will be provided at a ‘discount market rent’, with rents starting at £840 pcm.

These apartments will be available to households earning less than £30,000 that live and work in central Milton Keynes as part of an agreement with Milton Keynes Council.

Helen Gordon, chief executive at Grainger PLC, commented: “At Grainger, we aim to redefine the rental experience in the UK, and we believe Solstice Apartments will raise the bar for what renters in Milton Keynes can expect.”
