Arc & Co bolsters team

Arc & Co has appointed Cameron Hayes (pictured above) as a structured finance adviser.

In his new role, he will work in the structured finance team specialising in development and commercial finance.

He joins the company from development lender Beaufort Capital — which specialises in mezzanine — where he worked as a credit analyst.

Cameron also previously held positions at Colliers International and Lambert Smith Hampton, as well as Almero Holdings and Eurobridge.

Speaking about his appointment, he said he was very excited to join Arc & Co. and bring his previous experience to the role and business.

“I am looking forward to working closely with clients to help them achieve speed and flexibility with their projects,” he told Development Finance Today.

Andrew Robinson, CEO at Arc & Co, added: “Cameron is a strategic recruit for the Arc & Co business and will help to strengthen our reputation as one of the leading finance specialists in the property industry, and the world of mezzanine in particular.

“We look forward to learning from Cameron’s first-hand insight and exposure to mezzanine finance.”

Cameron’s appointment is part of the brokerage’s firm-wide strategy to continue diversifying the skillset and experience within the business.

In 2019, Arc & Co arranged approximately £199.3m of development finance.

It completed 82 commercial and development loans, 119 residential mortgages, and seven marine and aviation deals.
