Planning secured for 85 house scheme in Cropwell Bishop

Fisher German has achieved planning permission for a TERRA Strategic residential development scheme in Nottinghamshire.

The project in Cropwell Bishop will provide up to 85 new homes, out of which 30% will be affordable houses.

The property consultant provided evidence that the site did not make a significant contribution to the green belt and was appropriate for residential development.

James Beverly at Fisher German said: “This is a very good result and will not only provide new homes, but also a much-needed new access to the school.

“The current access is substandard and causes issues for both users of the school and local residents, so including this and a new car park provides a huge community benefit.”

James O’Shea at TERRA Strategic, commented: “At TERRA we focus on securing as many community benefits that we can through our development proposals.

“We try to engage with the local communities as early as we possibly can to ensure that the resulting planning approval is the best possible.”
