Dominvs Group

Real estate and investment group Dominvs has appointed John Ko as its new construction director, with immediate effect.

In his new role, he will be responsible for making sure the group’s business targets of residential and geographical diversification and expansion in 2021 and beyond are met and exceeded.

John has over 25 years of experience managing landmark construction projects in Australia and the UK.

His expertise in project management, safety and environmental matters will help to deliver developments on time and budget and within pre-established quality parameters.

John’s work as a development project manager began with his role on the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games, where he was responsible for the development and construction of the 6,000-bed Media Village.

Throughout his career, he worked on schemes for various companies, including Westfield Corporation, Brookfield Multiplex and, most recently, Goldman Sachs.

John said: “I am delighted to have joined Dominvs Group at such an exciting stage of growth.

“The projects myself and the team are working on are innovative and ambitious and I look forward to overseeing the completion of a wide variety of developments with our stakeholders and delivery partners.”

Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia, founder of Dominvs Group, added: “We are thrilled to welcome John to Dominvs Group — his experience in managing statement construction projects is second to none and his expertise in delivering large-scale, mixed-use developments will be instrumental as we delve into new projects and grow as a business.

“John joins us just days after the appointment of Matthew Coveney as our new residential development manager, signalling what an exciting time of expansion this is for Dominvs Group.”
