Throughout the year, the housebuilder’s team will take part in various fundraisers to provide donations to Candlelighters in order to help the charity provide support for children and families affected by childhood cancer.
This is part of Lovell Partnership’s yearly charity initiative — over the past two years, the company raised over £8,000 for Martin House Children’s Hospice, its previous nominated charity.

Robert Adams, regional managing director at Lovell Partnerships (pictured above, middle), said: “We are delighted to announce Candlelighters as our chosen charity this year, and look forward to supporting the fantastic work it does in supporting children and their families facing extremely difficult times.
“I know, from the amazing work our teams have done previously, how important these causes are to them.
“For the past few years, we have supported Martin House Children’s Hospice, raising money through raffles, regular dress-down days and golf events; we have also previously donated ex-show home furniture to be sold in its charity stores.
“Supporting local charities is something that has and always will be something incredibly close to our heart at Lovell Partnerships, particularly given how closely we get to know the communities we work in.
“We want to continue supporting the incredible work these charities do and I look forward to seeing what we can raise for Candlelighters this year.”
Emily Wragg, CEO at Candlelighters, added: “We are absolutely thrilled that Lovell Partnerships is supporting us as its charity of the year.
“When a child is diagnosed [with cancer], lives are turned upside down instantly, not just for the child but the entire family; getting well again can be a long and challenging journey, emotionally, physically, and financially.
“Support from Lovell means that the families affected by childhood cancer across Yorkshire do not have to face that unimaginable journey alone.”
