Modulous welcomes new client accounts director

Construction technology firm Modulous has appointed Chris Spiceley (pictured above) as a client accounts director.

In his new role, he will be responsible for forging commercial relationships with Modulous’ target partners at every tier — including councils, housing associations, private developers, construction advisors, consultants, and contractors — and will help grow the company’s project pipeline.

Chris, who has 20 years of industry experience, joins Modulous from Claritas Group, where he headed up the firm’s MMC arm, Claritas Four Zero.

Prior to this, he held roles at Mace Group, Lendlease and Places for People.

Commenting on his appointment, Chris said: “With the urgent need for more homes, more and more businesses will be looking for tech-enabled solutions that provide the means to deliver high-quality homes that produce less waste and cut levels of embodied carbon.

“Modulous was set up to solve these problems and I look forward to working closely with the wider industry to explain how we can help tackle these common pain points and enable the delivery of more sustainable homes.”

Reimell Ragnauth, co-founder and CCO at Modulous, added: “Following the completion of our £10m Series A funding round, we’re delighted to welcome Chris, who brings over 20 years’ of industry experience to Modulous.

“Chris will play a key role as we build upon and expand our relationships with developers, local authorities and housing associations interested in how Modulous can enable them to deliver sustainable, affordable homes at pace and scale.”
