Called Heron’s Quarter, it is the fourth phase of the £128m development.
Located on land north of Greenaway Lane, 28 new homes will be delivered, featuring a mix of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom properties in a varied collection of two-storey detached, semi-detached and terraced houses.
Some 40% of the homes will be delivered to VIVID for affordable housing.
As with each phase of Rivercross, Heron’s Quarter will feature a new public open space to enhance the character of the area and contribute to the considered community feel.
The £22m Heron’s Quarter scheme is expected to take approximately 24 months to complete.

The whole Rivercross development will be completed in 2025 and during its construction will have 40 to 50 operatives on site, boosting the local economy.
Mark White, managing director at Bargate Homes, said: “We are pleased to start construction on the fourth phase of this award-winning development.
“It’s great to see Rivercross expanding and becoming a thriving community.
“The homes at Heron’s Quarter will enable us to continue to provide the variety of housing that is needed in the area and most importantly homes families are proud to live in.
“As a community-led housebuilder, our focus is on enhancing and contributing to existing communities and providing exemplary new homes for local people.
