This includes a landmark tower of up to 37-storeys on the corner of Great Barr Street and Watery Lane Middleway.

The plans, which will unlock a new gateway into Digbeth and Birmingham City Centre, will see the delivery of over 500 new homes and 650 student rooms across four blocks.

New outdoor courtyards and public open spaces will be delivered, creating an attractive new space for the whole community.

As part of the transformation the locally listed Myona building, which has historic links to Jacobs Biscuits, will be retained and restored.
