New company promoting Ilke Homes name appears after £321m collapse

A new company publicising the Ilke Homes name has appeared, following the modular housebuilder’s collapse into administration last year.

The firm went into liquidation at the end of October 2023, owing approximately £321m to creditors.

According to the Ilke Homes website, which remains active, Homespace was “born through the completion of a strategic asset purchase agreement”, taking ownership of Ilke Homes’ trademarks, design IP, modular stock, and technology patents.

The website also states that Homespace has proven built designs available for nine core, fully electric house types, featuring several specifications, such as air source heat pumps and solar panels.

Homespace was contacted by DFT for comment, but has not yet responded.
