Weston Homes gains reserved matters planning permission for £33.5m Epping development



Weston Homes has gained reserved matters planning permission for a residential development application made to Epping Forest District Council.


The £33.5m GDV residential scheme, called Thornwood Park, in Thornwood Village, Epping is set to feature 62 family homes complete with gardens, landscaping, community orchard, parking and circa 4.7 acres of public open space in the form of a pocket park.

The Thornwood Park development will offer a mix of two-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom family houses and will include 40% onsite affordable housing.

All the homes are planned to be served by sustainable heat sources with their own dedicated air source heat pumps as well as on-site PV Panels to provide energy generation, also to be included are electric vehicle charging points for all residential car parking.
