Both will be based in Zenzic’s London headquarters and report to Simon Brown, who was recently appointed as head of real estate development finance lending.
Richard joins Zenzic from the Bank of New Zealand where he spent around eight years working in its Auckland office, most recently as client director.
There, he played a leading role in the delivery of NZ$620m, or £290m, in investment and development real estate finance for clients in a number of sectors.
Edward joins from Westpac Banking Corporation in Melbourne, Australia, where he spent time as an assistant relationship manager in its property finance team.

In his new role, Richard will be responsible for building on existing and establishing new relationships with introducers, UK residential property developers and property investors.
Meanwhile, Edward will be tasked with research, financial analysis and transactions underwriting — he will work predominantly on real estate mezzanine and senior debt opportunities.
“These latest hires continue the impressive growth trajectory of Zenzic Capital and will allow us to unlock and complete more lending opportunities as we position ourselves as a leading provider of bespoke real estate finance in the UK,” said Simon Brown, who was appointed to his role in March 2024.
“Both Richard and Edward have already brought a great deal of ability and enthusiasm to their new roles and I’m sure will be valuable additions to our expanding team — I look forward to working with them both.”
