The brownfield site development aims to create over 800 net-zero homes, with at least 35% being allocated for affordable housing.
The homes will be connected to a low-carbon heat network provided by Vattenfall Heat UK Ltd.
The site also aims to have capacity for a new primary school, commercial units, travel routes, and sustainable transport infrastructure.

The site also holds the Granton Gasholder, which has been restored to become a public park, while the former Granton Station has been restored and holds a public square.
