Weston Homes secures approval for £17m Essex development



Weston Homes has secured planning approval for a £17m residential development in Takeley, Essex.


The development, on Jacks Lane, will aim to provide 40 new homes on a site covering 2.25 hectares.

These properties will include 14 two-bedroom homes, 14 three-bedroom romes, eight four-bedroom homes and four five-bedroom homes. Each is designed to include EV charging points and air source heat pumps.

This development will include a public open space in the centre of the site, with a maintained play area. Fiber Optics superfast broadband will be incorporated into the homes’ design.

The site is located five minutes drive away from Stansted Airport Train Station, with access to central London in under an hour.
