Kennedy Wilson rehires MD

Kennedy Wilson has appointed Jake Harris (pictured above), as managing director, rehiring him for the role.

He will be responsible for overseeing the real estate investment company’s industrial and logistics investment activities in the UK, as well as effective standalone acquisitions elsewhere.

Jake previously worked at Kennedy Wilson from 2013 and 2021. In that time he helped launched the company’s UK platform, overseeing the investment and asset management of the firm’s industrial and logistics portfolio.

While he was away from Kennedy Wilson, Jake was an investment director at Paloma Capital.

He began his career as a chartered surveyor at Cushman & Wakefield and worked at Deutsche Asset Management (now DWS) for six years as a fund manager.

“I’m delighted to welcome Jake back to the business, having thoroughly enjoyed working with him in his previous stint with the company,” said Mike Pegler, president of Kennedy Wilson Europe.

“Jake already has a deep understanding of our business, as well as a wealth of knowledge in the UK investment market - in particular the industrial and logistics sector which remains an important focus for us in Europe.”

Jake added: “For experienced, creative and well-capitalised investors, the industrial sector continues to be a source of investment projects with the potential to deliver outsized risk-adjusted returns.  It’s an exciting time to be re-joining the business and I look forward to working closely with the team to continue expanding Kennedy Wilson’s footprint in the UK.”
