Knight Frank appoints UK international capital head

Knight Frank has appointed partner Joshua Morris (pictured above), to its newly-created role of UK head of international capital.

In the new role, Joshua will be tasked with bringing overseas capital sources to UK opportunities.

He will work alongside Charlie Barke, UK head of capital markets, and build on Knight Frank’s strategic alliance with US capital markets firm Berkadia.

This role will also see Joshua play a lead role in Knight Frank’s integrated global capital markets offering alongside Neil Brookes, global head of capital markets.

“Josh is a well-connected, proven dealmaker,” said Charlie.

“He will now work with all our capital markets teams to help access global capital for transactions in the UK, his market knowledge and commercial acumen make him ideally suited for this role.”

Joshua, who has been a partner in Knight Frank’s capital markets team since 2019, added: “There is a real opportunity for more [global capital] to be deployed into UK real estate.

“It is an interesting point in the cycle, with retail and some offices looking attractive from a yield/pricing perspective, while logistics and living sectors offer security of income partly due to supply-demand dynamics.

“I look forward to working even more closely with colleagues across our key hubs in mainland Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and US to support our clients.”
