What to expect at next week's FP Show 2024



At this year’s FP Show, delegates will enjoy the chance to connect with a diverse range of exhibitors from various sectors within the specialist finance industry, opening doors to valuable business opportunities.


This year, the sold-out FP Show expanded its floorspace following increased exhibitor demand.

Delegates are encouraged to register for free and arrive early to make the most of a day packed with education and ways to grow their business.

When do doors open?

Doors will open at 9:30am and the event ends at 4:30pm

Where is the nearest train station?

How do I register to attend, and what does it cost?

It is free for delegates to attend the FP Show. Delegates can register online until 12pm 7th November. You can register at the venue on the day, but registering online beforehand ensures you beat the queues!

Which lenders can I meet on the day?

We have a floor packed with 70 exhibitors, showcasing the A-Z of lenders across a range of financial services from bridging and BTL through to property development finance and commercial mortgages, and everything in between.

Will there be food?

Yes! Complimentary tea, coffee, stuffed croissants, and pastries and will be served in the breakfast area from 9:30am-10:30am, generously sponsored by MS Lending Group.

The Networking Café, sponsored by Bridge Invest, will have hot and cold food and beverage options available for delegates to purchase throughout the day.

What conferences can I attend?

Delegates can attend any of the panel discussions in the Conference Theatre.

Delegates are encouraged to register for free and arrive early to secure their seats as they fill up fast!

Who will be speaking in the Conference Theatre?

Knowledge Bank founder and CEO Nicola Firth will moderate a series of interactive Live Criteria Clinics, offering brokers the chance to engage directly with industry leaders about their current deals.

10:30am – BTL mortgages:
• this panel will cover current market conditions, affordability, LTVs, and the impact of the Renters Reform Bill
• panellists include Liz Syms, CEO and founder of Connect Mortgages; Caroline Mirakian, sales and marketing director at United Trust Bank; Jason Wilde, head of sales at Paragon Banking Group; Andrea Glasgow, sales director of specialist mortgages at Hampshire Trust Bank; Karen Rodrigues, head of sales at Market Financial Solutions; and Alex King, executive director at Lendco
11:30am – Commercial mortgages: 
• experts will explore semi-commercial and mixed-use properties, borrower experience, and market forecasts
• the panel will feature Stephen Spinks, head of sales – commercial mortgages for South & central at Allica Bank; Mike Davies, head of lending at YBS Commercial Mortgages; Adrian Moloney, group intermediary director at OSB Group; and Tanya Elmaz, director of intermediary sales at Together
12:30pm – Bridging finance: 
• topics such as regulated and unregulated bridging, exit strategies, and underwriting will be discussed
• the panel will feature Jamie Pritchard, managing director of sales at Glenhawk; Michael Stratton, CEO at MS Lending; Marcus Dussard, sales directorat KSEYE; Richard Deacon, managing director of sales at Octane Capital; Sundeep Patel, director of bridging at United Trust Bank; Maeve Ward, head of intermediary sales at Together; and Leanne Smith, director of bridging finance at LendInvest
1:30pm – Development finance:
• industry leaders will examine the state of the development finance market, GDVs, and managing increasing costs
• speakers include Lee Merrifield, director of credit at MSP Capital; John O'Donovan, partner at Harold Benjamin; Lee Francis, head of originations at CapitalRise; Leo Del Rosso, senior lending manager at Commercial Acceptances; and Guy Murray, co-head of short-term finance at West One
2:30pm – CPSP Seminar:
• a unique, interactive format, highlighting the progress and benefits of the Certified Practitioner in Specialist Property Finance (CPSP) qualification
• it will open with a backstory of the CPSP's creation by Adam Tyler, consultant at FIBA; and Vic Jannels, CEO at the BDLA
• panellists, who have been integral to its development and growth, will also share their experiences and contributions.
• speakers for the session include Gordon Reid, business development manager for learning & development at the LIBF; Gillian Tait, managing director at Competent Adviser; Karen Rodrigues, head of sales at MFS; Tanya Elmaz, director of intermediary relations at Together; and Charlotte Rutter, head of marketing and comms at Roma Finance
• attendees of the session will have access to an exclusive FP Show discount on CPSP enrolments from the LIBF and the FIBA Academy

When is the Champagne Reception?

Join us for a drink at our Champagne Reception, proudly sponsored by Tuscan Capital powered by Allica Bank and Fairbridge Capital, from 3:30-4:30pm in the Conference Theatre.

The complimentary reception, designed to provide a relaxing and social end to the busy day, will offer delegates the chance to unwind, build on new and existing connections, and continue conversations over a glass of bubbly.

All delegates who have registered to attend the FP Show 2024 will be able to access the Champagne Reception.

Which areas are available for conducting business?

You have the opportunity to conduct business throughout the entire floor. However, if you prefer to discuss a deal in a quieter environment, MSP Capital will be hosting live Deal Desks throughout the day, conveniently located next to the Conference Theatre.

Additionally, there will be a lounge area in our Centre Core, sponsored by Octane Capital, where you can engage in discussions in a more relaxed setting.
