Atelier appoints Matthew-Blaine Young as head of origination



Atelier has appointed of Matthew-Blaine Young (pictured above), as its new head of origination.


Matthew has extensive experience in property finance and in originating stretch senior development loans, with his previous position before joining Atelier being head of origination at STB.

Atelier has said that in his new position, Matthew’s guidance will be instrumental in driving its growth strategy which includes expanding its loan book to £500m plus by March 2026.

In his new position, Matthew will also use his expertise to identify and develop new business opportunities, ensure compliance and efficiency in pipeline management as well as expand relationships with brokers and developers across key real estate debt markets.

The appointment comes after Martin Gilsenan retired and stepped down from the position in May of last year.
