Valouran planning £225m Notting Hill redevelopment

Valouran is preparing plans for a redevelopment in Notting Hill with a GDV of over £225m.

The developer is preparing a planning application to redevelop the 100,000 sq ft mixed-use space into 28 bespoke homes with retail space at street and lower ground levels.

This application is due to be made late in 2025, with completion targeted for 2028.

The site is situated on the junction of Westbourne Grove and Hereford Road, with Valouran intending to also retrofit former Westbourne Grove pub, The Redan, into a restaurant.

Architects Pilbrow & Partners have been appointed to the design of these residences, which will range from one to four-bedrooms, with most to have direct access to outdoor space.

Luxury hospitality concierge consultants QP have been assigned as client representative.

“This development epitomises our pledge to not only craft exceptional living spaces but also enhance the communities and the surrounding environment of our projects,” said Alex Michelin, co-founder at Valouran.

“Our ambition for 90 Westbourne Grove is to deliver beautiful homes people will want to live in for a lifetime.

"A major play for us in West London, this venture adds to our prime central London portfolio, which includes schemes in Hampstead and St. Johns Wood.”
