Persimmon submits plans for 150 home North Yorkshire development

Persimmon has submitted plans to build 150 homes in Pickering, North Yorkshire.

The application for the site on Firthland Road will include a 35% affordable allocation.

These will include a mix of two- to four-bedroom homes, all of which fitted with EV charging units.

Through a Section 106 agreement, Persimmon would also make contributions to improving the local infrastructure.

“We’re delighted to have submitted plans for new, high quality and energy efficient homes in this part of Yorkshire,” said Graham Whiteford, planning director at Persimmon Yorkshire.

“With the need for new housing rightly high up the political agenda, we’re working hard to play our part in delivering new homes for first-time buyers, families and downsizers alike.”
