Greenlight for £15m development near Aberdeen airport

Planning permission has been granted for a £15m industrial park to be built in Dyce, near Aberdeen airport.

Arrowmere Capital, part of the Hurstwood Holdings Group, secured this permission for the scheme designed by RGP Architects.

The proposed scheme will deliver 80,000 sq ft of industrial and warehouse space over five units, ranging from 10,000 sq ft to 18,000 sq ft in size.

This is situated on a 12-acre site within the Kirkhill Industrial Estate.

Hurstwood acquired the site in 2023.

“We plan to develop this scheme on a design and build basis, and we are already in active discussions with occupiers regarding a number of flexible options, including bespoke builds and fully serviced plot sales,” said Sam Ashworth, project director at Hurstwood.

“There is a continuing demand for high-quality industrial, innovation and science hubs in the area and this scheme will address that shortage as well as also delivering significant economic benefits for the local area.”
