DM Hall sells Glasgow office building in excess of £2.25m asking price

Chartered surveyor DM Hall has completed the sale of a landmark property in Glasgow in excess of its £2.25m asking price.

The sale of 116 West Regent Street followed a competitive closing date and interest from a diverse pool of investors and developers.

Centrally located, the 34,073 sq ft office building is arranged over six floors and benefits from an indoor car park for 10 vehicles.

Claire Hutton, an associate at DM Hall’s Glasgow office and who led the marketing campaign (pictured above), said: “The sale not only reflects the strength and resilience of Glasgow’s commercial property market, but also underlines growing confidence in the city’s ongoing regeneration.

“Many of these traditional office buildings are getting a new life alongside a change of use.

“The purchaser intends to transform the building as part of an exciting redevelopment programme, which is expected to enhance the vibrancy and appeal of the surrounding area.

“We are proud to have secured this successful outcome for our client while supporting the ongoing progress and transformation of the city."
