The homes form the final phase of the development with 88 of these to be reserved for housing associations as a mixture of social rent, affordable rent and shared ownership.
All of the 350 homes will be equipped with solar panels and EV charging points, and development will include allotments, a bush shelter, animal boxes, tree and hedge retention and a sustainable drainage system.

Persimmon is set to make a £2.8m community infrastructure levy payment as a result of this planning permission being granted.

Two-, three- and four-bedroom homes are currently for sale at Ashworth Place as part of the earlier phases with prices starting from £239,995.
