Located in the village of Ambrosden, the site is to the south of Blackthorn Road and under the jurisdiction of Cherwell District Council. In 2024 it received planning permission from the council for 55 homes with 35% of this designated as affordable housing.
As part of plans to develop the site a new children’s play area will be constructed and a £432,081 investment will be made in the local community’s secondary education facilities.
“Our team is delighted to have successfully secured planning approval and demonstrated the strong demand for these homes and amenities to the council,” said David Harper, senior area land director at Catesby Estates.
