Vistry secures reserved matters approval for 233 homes

Vistry has secured reserved matters planning approval for 233 homes in its Cambourne development in Cambridgeshire.

These homes form part of Phase 3.2B of the scheme, with 37 homes designated for affordable housing. Of these, 19 will be built for approval rent and 18 for shared ownership.

The remaining 85 units will be available for private sale.

Reserved matters approval has also been secured for West Parcel 3.2A which adjoins Phase 3.2B.

West Parcel 3.2A will deliver a total of 111 new homes, including 33 affordable homes and 78 private homes.

Construction is scheduled to begin in October 2025, with full build completion targeted for October 2027.

“Securing reserved matters approval for these phases is a major milestone for Cambourne,” said Fraser Hope, managing director at Vistry Northern Home Counties.

“This next phase enables us to continue delivering high-quality, sustainable homes in a mix of tenures to meet the needs of local residents and support the wider growth of the area.

“We’re excited to begin construction and bring this new chapter of the development to life.”
