Since joining the business in October 2024 as managing director, Andrew has led a programme enhancing operational processes, embedding robust risk management disciplines and building a strong team.
The UK business is headquartered in Manchester, while the wider Sancus Group has established operations in London, Ireland and The Channel Islands.
Andrew brings more than 30 years of commercial lending experience, holding senior leadership positions at Assetz Capital, Together and Lloyds Bank.
Commenting on his appointment Andrew said: “I am incredibly proud of what the team has achieved and the opportunity to build on that progress across the wider group as CEO is hugely exciting.
“My focus now is to build on that momentum across the wider group, working with our teams and partners across our core markets.

“As group CEO, my priority will be delivering strong operating performance and discipline, controlled and sustainable growth plus building long-term value for our shareholders.”
As part of the leadership changes, Rory, who has served as group CEO since June 2021, will move into a broader role within Somerston, Sancus Group’s majority shareholder, focusing on strategic initiatives and new business opportunities.
Rory said: “Andrew’s leadership of our UK business has demonstrated his ability to drive performance, strengthen customer relationships and build high-performing teams.
“It is with great pleasure that I hand over the role to him, and I look forward to seeing Sancus go from strength to strength.”
The group expects to release its half-year results for the period ended 30th June 2026 in September.
