The Chelmsley Wood development, which will be 100% affordable, will be owned and managed by Platform.
These homes will be constructed on a 4.5 hectare former school site which has been earmarked for residential development for over a decade.
These plans include a near £2m Section 106 investment in local services.
The approved plans comprise a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses alongside one-bedroom maisonettes, and include a play area, nature trail and new areas of public open space.
