Fresh appointed to two Edinburgh PBSA schemes

Fresh has been appointed by Ropemaker to manage two PBSA schemes in Edinburgh.

The third-party property manager assumed management of Meadow Court and Norton’s Student Living on 1st July.

Meadow Court comprises 148 units, including 115 en-suite bedrooms within cluster flats and 33 units within townhouses.

Amenities at the scheme include shared study and social spaces, study pods and a courtyard.

Norton’s Student Living comprises 149 units, including 97 en-suite rooms and 52 studios. The property includes a range of amenities for residents including shared study spaces, communal lounge areas, a games room, cinema room, gym and a private rooftop dining room.

This deal builds on Fresh’s relationship with Ropemaker as it already manages the latter’s schemes in Exeter and Cardiff.

“The expansion of the partnership demonstrates our proven ability to deliver strong results across the BTR, co-living and PBSA sectors, and we’re delighted that Ropemaker has recognised our ability to enhance the resident experience at preestablished properties,” said Sam Scott, managing director at Fresh.

“We look forward to supporting Ropemaker’s PBSA portfolio and upholding the exceptional operational standards they have come to expect from Fresh Property Group.”

Paul Hillier, investment manager at Ropemaker, added: “We’re very pleased to continue and expand our relationship with Fresh and look forward to working with them to provide students with an exceptional accommodation experience during their studies, ensuring residents are supported during this important stage in their lives.

“Fresh has already demonstrated the value they bring to our residents at our BTR and co-liv properties, and we’re excited to extend this partnership into PBSA.”
