CapitalRise funds Hammersmith scheme with £8m

CapitalRise has completed an £8m development facility to fund a mixed-use redevelopment in Hammersmith.

Located on Fulham Road, the funding will help deliver a 40-key aparthotel and public house redevelopment.

The aparthotel will be operated and leased by Numa Stays, a fast-growing European hospitality brand.

The deal was introduced by Dorothée Dembiermont, co-founder of Voltaire Financial, who has a longstanding relationship with both CapitalRise and director Katy Katani and who acted as exclusive debt advisor to the borrower.

“This facility reflects our ongoing commitment to backing exceptional projects alongside experienced partners,” said Katy.

“The scale and mixed?use nature of the scheme required a lender able to respond quickly and constructively, and I’m pleased we could collaborate closely with the borrower and this top tier intermediary relationship to deliver a structure that enables the next phase of this transformative development."

The unnamed borrower added: “We are delighted to have closed this transaction in the rapidly growing Hammersmith and Fulham sub-market, an area in which we hold strong conviction.

“It was a pleasure to work so closely with both Voltaire and CapitalRise to get the construction facility over the line and break ground on site — a genuinely collaborative effort, with every party rolling up their sleeves to get the deal done.

“We are equally excited to have partnered with Numa as our hotel operator and have real conviction in both their business model and their continued growth across Europe.”
