All this and more is instantly available via desktops, tablets and phones. I was asked this week why Omega doesn’t have an online sourcing system allowing clients or introducers to instantly obtain a quote for their commercial mortgage or other business finance facility.

After 22 years in this business and despite huge advances in technology during that time we honestly don’t believe we can do justice, via that route, to what are usually complex assessments and analyses necessarily arising from almost infinite variances in customer requirements/circumstances and lender criteria.

With over 100 potential lenders for commercial transactions, many of whom don’t have specific products or pre-determined pricing, we doubt any genuine all-encompassing technological solution will exist any time soon. No matter its complexity or quality, software cannot...
