New bridging and development broker has entered the market and has established itself as a full service advisory house.

B&C Distributor heard from Managing Director Roshan Doostdar about Vision Finance, current deals, and the broker’s position in the market.

Vision Finance, based in central London, specialises in arranging bridging and development finance on behalf of property professionals which require finance for their projects. Typical projects range from ultra-high end single dwelling refurbishment projects in prime central London, to large multi-unit ground-up developments across the south east.

Developers face unique challenges finding the right lender, and having the resources necessary to close a successful deal. Vision Finance believes it is now more important than ever that developers engage an advisor that understands the current lending climate and is wholly focussed on achieving the best financing structure and terms for their clients.

Vision Finance has built strong relationships with the lenders which are actively lending to property developers and investors right now. Vision Finance is able to access the key decision makers within lenders’ underwriting teams, and terms can be obtained rapidly when required. Vision Finance will always approach a number of suitable lenders to ensure the process remains competitive, pushing lenders to work hard on both price and structure for their clients.

Roshan Doostdar qualified as a Chartered Accountant while working at Ernst & Young in London. During his time at Ernst & Young he gained extensive experience of the financial services industry, working within the Transaction Advisory and Business Modelling teams.

Following on from Ernst & Young, Roshan moved into investment banking, focussing on Mergers & Acquisitions and Debt Advisory mandates, including a number of hotel and property related transactions. Roshan was focussed on growing the bank’s Debt Advisory practice, and he was involved in the structuring and arranging of debt packages, as well as restructuring existing debt facilities, on behalf of corporates and leading private equity client.

Roshan is now the Managing Director at Vision Finance where he specialises in providing full advisory services to property professionals who require bridging or property development finance. Roshan continues to work in the commercial sector, specifically with respect to hotel finance and refinancings.
