Following the overwhelming success of its events last year, a lender is set to celebrate its 80th year in style by treating clients to inside information.

On March 27th,
Regentsmead will be putting on a one-stop-shop for developers offering a chance to reveal some inside information on all areas of property development including access to finance, planning and architectural issues as well as warranty provision.

Regentsmead CEO James Bloom said: “We intend to advise builders and developers on hot topics for 2014. It’s a great venue and there should be some extremely useful tips which hopefully our developers can take away and apply them to their future projects.

"This seminar was born out of a growing demand amongst our developer clients who have found particular areas of the building process to be problematic.”

The event will be held at modern offices in London’s Aldgate in conjunction with warranty provider Checkmate and Jane Duncan Architects.

The one-stop-shop for developers will cover several problematic areas for developers in the current market.
Regentsmead will shed some light on finance headaches and sourcing funding in the current climate with particular focus on pitfalls for developers and their projects.

Regentsmead boasts 80 years of property and lending experience and will be sharing some of these vital pieces of advice on the day. Attendees will also hear from a current Regentsmead client who will run through a case study and details of an existing project in order to bring to light some of the problems that Regentsmead helped them solve.

Focus will then shift to planning and architectural issues, a tricky area for most developers, which will be presented by Jane Duncan of Jane Duncan Architects.

Jane has over twenty years’ experience covering areas such as planning negotiation, development feasibilities and providing innovative design solutions and she will be sharing some of the secrets that have resulted in her becoming a key runner in this year’s presidency for RIBA.

Jane is an exciting speaker and will be offering some invaluable information for developers.

The seminar will also see Giles Fallan of Checkmate highlight the issues when trying to ascertain a warranty for building projects. Checkmate delivers ten and twelve-year latent defect structural insurance and new home warranty insurance policies across a wide range of new and newly converted/refurbished homes and commercial premises.

Giles’ vast experience is predominantly in property development and has allowed him to produce a service that boasts bespoke and innovative provision of policies. An existing Checkmate client will also explain how easy and straightforward the Checkmate process was for them.
