Barratt Developments PLC has announced its plans to build 1,300 new homes in the North West.
One of Britain’s biggest housebuilder’s, Barratt Developments, which trades locally as Barratt Homes Manchester and David Wilson Homes North West, has stated that the £200 million investment will see 15 new developments open this financial year.
Three of the developments are also due to open this month, where over 2,500 local construction jobs will be opened up during the construction phase.
Mark Clare, Barratt Developments’ Group Chief Executive, announced the plans when he visited Barratt Manchester’s Elworth Gardens development at Sandbach.
Commenting on the colossal investment, Mark said: “We’re committed to investing in the North West region, supporting employment and training in the local area as well as getting involved in local causes to provide long-term benefits for communities.”
Prices range from £99,995 at Delph Wood in St Helens to £458,995 at Knights Wood in Eccleston.
