The owner of development firms Goldentree Financial Services and Salboy Ltd is currently awaiting planning approval for a major development in Salford.
Bookie and financial figure Fred Done has submitted a proposal for the major development comprising the creation of 380 residential units and 889 sqm of commercial space.
The creation of the development will include the demolition of existing buildings and the formulation of a 12 storey building and a 16 storey premises which will house the residential and commercial spaces.
The potential development will facilitate a debut move into the private rental sector, which Simon Ismail confirms to DTF: "...is one area we are looking to move into."
He explains that the Black Friar pub will remain within the development to house management offices, party room, concierge and cold room.
In regards to previous applications with the Black Friar pub, Council documents declar that there has been two withdrawn applications to change its use from public house use to office use.
The existing space involves eight properties according to the Salford City Council.
Salford City Council was unable to comment on the application due to its pending nature.
