North Yorkshire based Walter Thompson Ltd has been awarded with the contract for a 47 unit  extension at a luxury hotel.

The contract for a 47 bedroom extension and four story spa facility at Ramside Hall Hotel in Durham is worth £8 million and has been given a completion date of April 2015.

The hotel will expand from 82 rooms to 129 with the four storey Asian style Health Spa containing a 25 metre swimming pool, four therapy pools, rooftop hydro pool, six heat and therapy rooms, 10 treatment rooms, a gym and aerobic studio, along with a hair salon and Asian restaurant.
