Properties located near to major British sporting venues remain in high demand according to online property portals...

Earlier this month eMoov found properties in Wimbledon were vastly inflated due to the tennis championships taking place there every year.

It also found that
properties located near Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium had soared in value, rising a staggering 547% since 1996.

OnTheMarket.com has now found out which properties are available to rent next to some of Britain’s most iconic sporting venues.

It was revealed that there were a number of affordable properties on the market located near venues such as Wimbledon, Henley, Silverstone and Lords.

With the second Ashes test due to start tomorrow, OnTheMarket revealed a 2-bed property in St John’s Wood overlooking Lords Cricket Ground is available for £650 per week.

Meanwhile a 5-bed house in Buckingham, not far from the home of the British Grand Prix, Silverstone, is currently on the market for £576 per week.

OnTheMarket also found a 2-bed, fourth floor flat overlooking the England Lawn Tennis Club in Wimbledon, with underground parking, communal gardens and a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom for as little as £531 per week.
