Regentsmead has completed the funding for a new build bungalow in Derby for a client who had previously borrowed from the lender pre-credit crunch…

The total loan amount was £100,000, with £25,000 towards the purchase price and £75,000 towards the build cost.

The gross development value of the project was £210,000.

The client, Nick, who had previously borrowed from Regentsmead before the credit crunch, said: “The project went swimmingly and I found the whole process with Regentsmead extremely smooth; it was a delight to work with them.”

“The project has reinvigorated me to get back into developing for myself and I am already looking for the next suitable opportunity to pursue with Regentsmead.”

The cost of the site was £70,000 and the total cost of the work was £75,000.

James Bloom, Chief Executive of Regentsmead, added: “It’s great that we have managed to re-establish our relationship with Nick and that he is now looking to further pursue his own developments.”
